OUR COURSES
become a tattoo artist
The Black Cat Tattoo studio offers a personalized tattoo course designed for beginners and aspiring artists. The full course includes 10–15 sessions and costs €1200, with all materials and equipment provided. Lessons are scheduled flexibly to suit each student’s availability, and the course is tailored individually to match your pace and goals.
Training starts with one theory class (3 hours), covering tattoo basics, safety, equipment, aftercare, and working with clients. Students then move on to foundational skills like setting up a workspace, using stencils, and practicing on artificial skin and fruit.
Practical training includes 4–7 sessions (20–25 hours) focusing on line work, shading, large pieces, and color. Students also get to work on live models over 4–5 sessions (25 hours), gaining real-world experience in various techniques.
An optional creative session allows for sketching original designs, and a 4-hour introductory class is available for €70, offering a taste of the full course.
Courses are held in our two centrally located Riga studios. Whether you're looking to start a new career or explore your artistic side, our tattoo course offers the perfect environment to learn, create, and grow.
